Association québécoise du propane (AQP) Safety Council
According to the AQP, each propane cylinder, tank or reservoir must be installed on a solid, level, impermeable base resting on a flat, level surface. Horizontal tanks must be placed on a minimum of two concrete supports to create clearance between the underside of the tank and ground level.
