The classic gestation slat is still the best choice for the farrowing section of your barn. We offer these slats with or without openings in 3 different widths. Our gestation slats are designed to adapt to the needs of breeders as well as to the world market which regulates imports by imposing strict animal-welfare standards.

Euro model
We also have a slat model for freestall sows. This model is inspired by the highest European animal-welfare standards.
A high-performance
concrete mix
We use a high-performance concrete mix with 70 MPa silica fume which increases the level of impermeability of the concrete mix and makes the slats easier to clean. We add a non-slip finish to improve the safety of your pregnant sows. The Canadian-made reinforcement is cut, bent and welded at our plant for increased quality control and traceability. Our slats are extremely durable.

Several sizes to meet your needs
We offer a wide selection of standard-length concrete slats. Their dimensions are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 standard feet. In addition, Patio Drummond offers 3 widths for gestation slats: 24”, 26” and 28”. We can also develop custom-made slats for your projects.
